Bloods Gang Leader Sentenced to 20 Years for Drug Dealing and Violence

Raymond Lawrence Brown, the leader of a violent Bloods gang involved in cocaine and crack distribution, has been sentenced to 240 months in federal prison. The sentencing follows Brown's guilty plea to possessing cocaine with the intent to distribute. Raymond Lawrence Brown, identified as the leader of the Bloods gang, was sentenced for orchestrating drug deals and engaging in violent activities that terrorized the southern Raleigh community. Court documents revealed that Brown received an enhancement for his involvement in at least one murder. The evidence presented during the hearing demonstrated Brown's role in ordering the murder of an individual suspected of robbing a house used by him for drug dealing. The retaliation resulted in the death of the suspected robber on June 10, 2019.
